BIRTHDAY BOOK CLUB

What is a great way to share your birthday with the whole Florence Meares community? It's the Florence Meares Birthday Book Club! What is the Florence Meares Birthday Book Club and how does it work?

For a donation of $10 your child is enrolled in the Birthday Book Club. With these donations, I will purchase and process a variety of books for our library. On your child's birthday, an announcement will be made and your child can come and select a book from our Birthday Book selection. A donation book plaque will be placed in the inside cover of the book indicating that it was donated for that special occasion and recognition of the contribution and title chosen will be published in that month’s newsletter. The student will be given the opportunity to be the first to sign that book out of the library to bring home. After that, other students at Florence Meares can enjoy the donated Birthday Book as well.

For summer birthdays, announcements and selections will be made during June. If you are interested in participating in this program please fill out the form below and return it to the school.
